White Plains Golf Tournament Open to All
The White Plains Country Club will hold a golf tournament for all ages and skill levels on Saturday, July 9th at 1 p.m. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the newly-expanded Earnhardt Children’s Hospital to purchase a new dialysis machine for kidney patients.
A special registration packet, which includes a free t-shirt from one of our sponsors, will be given to those who register by June 25th. However, a registration table will also be open on-site the day of the tournament and participants can sign up prior to 11 a.m. After the tournament, everyone will receive a certificate of participation as well as a voucher for a free round of golf at White Plains. Numerous prizes, including a TV and a laptop computer, will be given away. Tickets for the prize drawing will be available for purchase at the registration table.
Participants can choose to sign up for a 9-hole course or an 18-hole course. For adults, the costs are $70 and $125 respectively. For ages 17 and under, the costs are $55 for the 9-hole course and $100 for the 18-hole course. Bring the whole family and help a good cause!
Local businesses who would like to sponsor the event should contact Reid Marshall, the event coordinator, at 555-6970. The deadline for sponsorship inquires is June 24th. We accept cash donations, items for our prize raffle and registration packets, and food donations for the sack lunches and beverages provided to participants. |
